Of My Recent Trip To The
Island of
São Miguel, Açores
My main goal when I visited
São Miguel, Açores was to search for and obtain records of birth, marriage and death
of my ancestors.
Second, locating and
photographing the homes where my family and local fishermen
lived. And finally to enjoy myself, walking
around the old streets that I remembered as a young child
living there and meeting and talking
with some of the old fishermen who are still with us and
living in the old
fishing town of Calheta, São Pedro, Ponta Delgada, Açores.
